MSW, LIMHP, LICSW

Starting therapy can feel like a daunting step and Kenna honors the bravery it takes to begin this journey. Kenna supports her clients with respect and empathy, creating a space where they work towards lasting change by developing skills and insights to navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

Kenna attended the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work where she earned her Master of Social Work degree. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Certified Master Social Worker in Nebraska, as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. As an EMDR-trained clinician, Kenna utilizes a variety of approaches including attachment-focused interventions, parts work, narrative therapy, and more to create a holistic and effective therapeutic experience.

Kenna’s expertise lies in working with individuals ages 12 and up with challenges related to trauma and attachment, anxiety, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that symptoms are not simply problems to be fixed, but adaptive strategies people have developed in response to difficult circumstances. Kenna’s goal is to help those she works with to compassionately shift these patterns into new ways of engaging with themselves and others.

Additionally, Kenna is passionate about working with caregivers. Whether you are parenting a child with trauma or anxiety, noticing some of your own “stuff” from childhood coming up, or just wanting to work towards more alignment with your values as a parent, Kenna is here to walk alongside you. She knows that being a parent is not an easy role and empowers her clients with tools and support to create better relationships with themselves and their children.

If you or your child are seeking support in moving towards healing and personal growth, Kenna invites you to reach out. She looks forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you in achieving your goals.
